Meet Lucy Vine

I believe we live on a beautifully created planet open for human exploration.  Although each island, each piece of land has been claimed by others, we as individuals should discover these places for ourselves.  As a middle child who always strived to be unique and stand out in my family, I search out the unique in my every day life.  Traveling 5 miles or 500, I know there are experiences to be had everywhere if we choose to take the leap of faith and leave the status quo behind.

Life is an adventure, whether you have your bags packed or not.  My children have taught me this more than anyone and although they wouldn’t be mistaken for gypsies, they are fine taking a beach trip with nothing but a bathing suit, sunscreen and a towel.  “Just for the day, we’ll figure out eating later.”  I am not a planner and  many of my trips are done with reckless abandonment, sometimes it is the unplanned trip that brings about the greatest discoveries.
