Training Philosophy

Keep It Simple.
The body only does what you tell it to do. My approach is to first assess my client’s strengths and deficits, help align my clients’ intentions alongside their actions and keep the process transparent.  The more complicated the program, the less likely you will be effective.

Educate
If my client is unable to confidently workout without me present, then I have failed.  I do my best to explain why we do everything. I refuse to work with people who don’t want to know their own anatomy. Responsibility begins with a desire to know yourself. There is always homework.

My Role is to Be the Keeper of Dreams and Goals
Though it is nice to feel good, we can not measure feelings in inches. It is important to have measurable and visible goals.  I enjoy the relationships I form with my clients but ultimately I am not there to be a friend. My role is to serve as the keeper of their dreams. I stand for the “Future”. I am hired to support my clients to live the lives “they say, they want.”

Bring Your Heart to Your Training and Check Your Ego at the Door
I have trained celebrities and wealthy powerful people. The only difference between a famous person and a non-famous person is they are harder to reach when you need to speak with them. The bottom line is motivation. To learn, we need to be quiet, still our minds and listen to what we are told. If you comply, you find that things happen pretty effortlessly. Less force is required.

We all need to balance our work/play lifestyles. This requires commitment and sacrifice. I am clear that exercise is for everyone and not everyone may be ready to exercise. Check your ego first. Lead by your heart.

Most of all have FUN
I am not talking about having laughs and sharing secrets. I think every  6-8 weeks, we must change the game. Let’s work together to create new challenges so we are mentally and physically growing. The laughs come as we go home and enjoy our lives and the fruit of our labors.
