This is the time of the year when people either embark upon or begin to plan their next vacation. Here is a compilation of the posts and videos you may want to see if travel down under to the land of the Kiwis is a curiosity. New Zealand is a fascinating country with countless options. From skiing in the South Island to a beach vacation on the North Island to taking a tour of active volcanoes, a variety of adventures await. During my three week stay, I got so much in that six months later I still have travel video footage to edit.
Still to come is footage of the Shotover Jet, Horseback RIding in Queenstown (Lord of the Rings Country) and my Waiheke island bike and wine tour. You can see glimpses of that footage in the compilation video, New Zealand – 3 Weeks in 5 Minutes. I hope viewing these experiences help, or at least get you thinking about staging your own adventures.

My Franz Josef Glacier Adventure

With all the talk of global warming I wanted to experience a glacier tour while we still have glaciers. New Zealand has two significant glaciers, Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier. This video takes you with me as I embark on a 6-hour tour of Franz Josef Glacier.
It was a trip of a lifetime and under the most precarious of weather.

While passing through Queenstown, NZ, I decided to do the Nevis Bungy jump, the highest in NZ. I know when people consider my lifestyle, read my journal, watch my videos, look at my photos, I appear to be an adrenaline junky. I am not. Seriously, I am quite risk adverse. I’m just stupid.
