Without being preachy, I sought out songs that can be played in class or our iPods that remind us one and all that you are not your body.
Think about this…
If you are complimented you are “beautiful,” you are expected to say thank you. Otherwise, you wil be shamed for being vain.
Would you expect someone to say “thank you” if someone complimented their height? Like beauty, they had no hand in it.
Isn’t it interesting the subtle pressures we all put on each other?
