I search everywhere to find ways to bring affirming images, people and sounds into my world.

I don’t view my Life with rose colored glasses. I know the world is an imperfect place but there are shooting stars and defining moments occurring daily.

You don’t even have to leave your house to be “moved” but these videos will inspire you to consider how you are moving and the impact you are having on the world around you.

I chose videos that for one reason or another make me think about how am I living.

Imagine jumping for joy to and from work. How would that change your family if you loved what you did that much? Think of the calories burned! Once the snow clears I’m gonna try it.

Do I appreciate what I have?
Edelweiss – The Sound of Music

Christopher Plummer was dubbed in the released film, but here’s his own vocal track, with Charmian Carr. What I find interesting is how his voice was perfect for the scene and yet cut. However, it did not diminish his performance or humility afterwards.

Do I cut loose enough?
I Just Wanna F*cking Dance

An incredible job of editing classic films with a dance version of one of the songs from Jerry Springer the Musical. If all you hear is the word “fuck” than you may want to think about that for a bit.

Does my daily performance inspire others into action?
Hair at the Tony Awards

This was closing song in the open number of the 2009 TONY Awards on Broadway. It inspired me to see the show and the Age of Aquarius became the theme of my birthday party later that Summer and hosted by Preston Bailey. It was a gas!
