How to Turn Sour Grapes into Wine or How I Ended Up in New Zealand

In every relationship you make must make a leap of faith. My leap of faith left me ultimately feeling betrayed and with a $2k plane ticket that I couldn’t use. This is the video journey of how I turned it around, I had to, because the alternative was to be angry, justified, and bitter. This simply is no Life for a responsible man, or woman.  There are so many other noble efforts you can give your energy to.

I am not trying to say that the experience was easy but I will say if you do the hard work you can put the past behind you. It takes time and sometimes small things creep back up. However, it is never as bad as the first time. For the record, I have cast no villains. Along with the bad, there are good memories. What happened happened and it is time to move on.

Flash forward, people have come into my Life that I would never had met if my train had not been derailed. I am also on an journey I didn’t see coming. I will be in New Zealand at the end of October and entered in the adidas Auckland Marathon then more adventures thereafter. I am excited. I am little scared. Mostly, I am thrilled to have persevered especially when things were pretty bleak. If you stay the course and do good work you will be OKAY. This is true at any age.

Believe in Yourself.
